Emeka Nwagwu

Alternate Director Operations

Mr Nwagwu graduated from University of Ife, Ile Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University OAU) in 1982. He holds a (Hons) Degree in Applied Geophysics. He joined UG(N)L in May 1985 and worked on the NNPC crew, party 158 as a Trainee Seismologist. He later became the crew’s Senior Seismologist before becoming Assistant Party Chief on both Party 158 (NNPC Chad Basin Crew) and Party 132 (Shell 2-D crew).

He was appointed Party Chief P-145 in 1991, for the Trans Ramos Shell 3D Acquisition Project. Mr Nwagwu has attended the on shore Geophysical Safety and Management course (UK) in 1987. In 1997 Mr Nwagwu was appointed Party Chief for the Company’s operations for Shell. In 2005 Mr. Nwagwu was appointed Alternate Director of Operations.
