Julius Onikute

Director

Mr Onikute is a pioneer staff of United Geophysical (Nig) Limited since incorporation in Nigeria. He joined UG(N)L in 1965. He was company’s office manager in Wari Base from 1969 to 1971 before being appointed as Company secretary and a director since 1971 to 2005. He retired voluntarily in 2005 after 40 years of meritorious service to the company. However, in recognition of his hard-work, experience and diligent service to the company, he has since been re-appointed a director till date.

He was also a director of Wellside Nigeria Limited, a sister company of United Geophysical (Nig) Limited. During his active service in the company, he attended various courses in Nigeria and overseas. Mr Onikute is a graduate and associate member of the Institute of Supervisory Management, Lichfield, U.K. Mr Onikute is responsible for the company’s relationship with Government Agencies, Legal Advisors, Professional Consultants Including Company Secretary Deloitte.
