Managing Director

Mr Motteram has 39 years of experience in the seismic acquisition industry. He holds a BSc. Honours degree in Earth Science, an MSc in Geopyhsics, a PGDip in Software Engineering and an MBA. Before joining United Geophysical in 1997 he worked with Schlumberger Geco-Prakla and Seismograph Service Ltd as a Seismologist and Party Chief in Peru, Papua New Guinea, Libya, Egypt, Tunisia, Nigeria, Alaska, Texas and South Eastern USA.

He is experienced in 2D, 3D and 4D Vibroseis and Dynamite Operations in all terrain types. Mr Motteram joined the company as a project manager responsible for SPDC operations before being promoted to Operations Manager and then Deputy Managing Director in 2005. He was appointed as Managing Director in September 2017.
